I just purchased CK2 with all the dlc on the steam sale. I been playing the last few days to get used to the basic mechanics and now want to move onto the GOT mod as thats the reason i bought this game. I'm not really that good with mod installation so im kinda clueless on how to install the mod. I'm running Windows and was wondering if someone would be willing to give me step by step instructions on how to install the mod and get it running properly. Also what DLC's should i use and should any of the DLC's be turned off? Thanks for the help.

You can keep all DLC's on except the songs (unless you want to have vanilla music and AGOT music trough eachother)

quick question. How do i take land from others. I fabricated a claim and used it and I have a strong claim but I cant declare war? It says i can only declare war on leige?
The person you want to declare war on is a vassal, which means you have to look at the portrait just to the upper right, who is their liege. If you fabricated a claim against a Count who is owned by a Duke, who is owned by a King, you must declare war against the King. Make sense?
But then how do i win the war lol. I have a single territory and can muster 1000 men, how do i conquer lands if i have to declare war on my liege lord, He will obliterate me from existence.

In the GOT mod the paramounts control their section of the world, meaning that everyone in that specific area of the map is below the paramount. I am playing as Tyran Lannister in Lannisport and I wanted to invade Fang Tower but I realized I couldnt with the strong claim. So the only way i can gain more land is to declare war on my liege or become independent? I mean i have 1000 troops lol, if i declare an open war against my liege Tywin he will destroy me. There are no other ways to conquer land?
You should be able to invade the fang tower as it is under Casterly Rock, unless the LP put it under another high lord.
Oh your right. Thanks. My entire family just got the plague and died within months of each other, I lost like 6 of my kids and my wife.
So i just fabricated a claim on Tendering as they were direct vassals and pretty weak. I beat all their men and seiged their holding taking prisoners. The war-score is now 100 in my favor. The war is not ending nor allowing me to enforce demands as that option is greyed out in the diplomacy tabs. I just assumed that they would eventually send me an offer of surrender but its been a while and i havent gotten anything, I cant enforce demands and my war score is 100. Also the ruler of Tendering was captured by me in the seige and I thought that was why it wasnt ending so i ransomed her and still nothing happened. All the defending units in her holding were killed in the siege by me as I called in allies and had a significant number of troops. So right now my personal levies are on Tethering and nothing is happening as the place has already been seiged and the war score is 100 in my favor. So why am I not able to wrap up the war and claim Tethering? Am i missing something? Also there are 3000 troops that I think were allied with the Tethering armies and as I saw that stack I immediately called in my allies the Paynes and they came in with 5000 so the 3000 enemy stack is just quietly sitting in the corner doing nothing, do I have to kill this army maybe? But the war score is 100 so i dont understand...
Has there been a "Major Battle" - because if not, you have to wait 3 years for peace.
Oh ok I see, I waited and they surrendered. Thanks. Also when i try to tutor my kids I send them to the guy with the best stats in the field i want them to be, but when i try to select a dude to educate them some other dude appears instead and he is not my selected tutor. I guess that the liege has to allow that person to take in wards?
