Hi,

I played more than 100 turns with Armageddon on, it was really fun, until the part where you have to destroy Anchors. What is annoying is that Monsters have captured the last Anchor, and they have Evil Sorcerer with them (92 damage and 80 HP). How do you defeat such a unit ? There must be something, a weakness :)

Thanks!

All this type of units are immune to banes, don't know if the aura of the Zombie and Wolf works i never tried.

You can check his lowest resist and blast with spells then move for the kill with all the units buffed with resist.

Note: All the planes has at least one of those type of units

my tip, look at the stats of the unit. then find two types of your own units, the first one is a unit which has a noticeable resistance to the damage type the enemy unit is dealing. the second is one of your units which deals damage the enemy unit can't resist...

sometimes you're lucky and both aspects fall to one single unit... :)

stack lots of armours/perks in your heroes.

For example, having protective amulet and adamantium armour will stack 80 death resist to reduce the damage of sorcerors by a lot.

If you think that unit is bad, wait until the Dremer take out one of the AI great mages. That guy has even higher damage and resists and 500hp. If the shadow mages ever decided they wanted to march on my capital instead of more or less wandering aimlessly, I think it would be game over.

Gotta know your resists, and to have lots of high powered troops. I just took out a black mage and Old Troll at about the same time by focusing down the mage and tanking the troll with a high melee resist unit.

Check the damage types of enemies, and upgrade accordingly. Use terrain to your advantage too, a cover specialist unit in a hill tile takes 50% less damage, even when attacking! A forester, cover specialist, in a forest takes 75% less damage! This can turn light units like rangers into surprisingly hard to kill tanks.
