How To Make Mods Work:

How do I make mods work? I saved and unzipped them in the mod folder but Rome 1.1 isn't picking them up, i don't think -- all except the .exe file I did.

Are you making sure that you arent starting the 'default' game at startup?

All I have is a default, there are no other settings. When I copied and replaced folders, my entire game is messed up. lol

So, after I reinstall the whole she-bang, how do I make mods work? I extracted the ones I wanted in the 'mod' folder, and still all I saw was default at the load up screen.

In the Mod Folder, you should have one file : the xxx.mod file and one folder xxx which contains all the mod's files..
When I install a mod, I usually extract it in a temporary folder and then move the file and the folder in the 'mod' folder of the game.
