Playing the Ottomans in Watkaboi and a military reform event didnt fire at its prescribed time, can I still fire it?

Nevermind :) , just fired on a load up, guess "offset = 10950" means it can fire up to a certain time...

offset of 10950 means, the event can fire from start date any random date up to 10950 days, then every 10950 days from the set day of this first random trigger .

so if you had
date = { day = 10 month = january year = 1419 }
offset = 18
deathdate = { day = 0 month = january year = 1650 }

then the first trigger will be any day from 10th january until the 28th january ( 10 +18) , then every 18 days from that date until the deathdate.

this is one area where it seems the AI sleep , that is awaiting the next time the "offset" date will trigger. when you close and restart the game you will always see that events which miss the initial offset trigger more likely trigger.

I usually like to keep my offset no longer than 180 as I like to retain a higher % of the historical game.
