How to mod brigade graphics

Hi all,

I want to make new brigades graphics for countries that didn't have (Finland, Hungary, Romania, etc) and I don't know how to create without having any problem.

What I have done for the moment it's past the photo to a generic file (ill_bri_1_0) and resize to adjust it to the frames and then rename with a new name (f.e. for the finns: ill_bri_fin_1_0).The problem it's that when I play I saw the photo with black and yellow stripes. There is someway to make the files without having this problem? Or it's impossible?

And if this thread it's created, I'm sorry... Then, If you could give me the link... :unsure:

Hi,

I don't know what you exactly mean by seeing black and yellow stripes in the new brigade picture you made, but the problem is almost surely related to an incorrect resizing of the image. You just need to keep the right size (i.e. 96x56 pixels) and you should be fine.

I don't know why but there are some pics that are correct in the game but others appears with the same problem. It's something very strange.

the result has to be 15,8KB in size. you saved in the wrong .bmp size. try to open with paint and save it again - problem solved. (my program has only one format for bmp, had to load it in paint to figure it out)

I see now that the files correct are saved in 15,8KB like you said... Now I'm changing all the wrong files. Thanks for your quickly answer bestmajor, thanks!!

EDIT: bestmajor, it was what you said to me. The size must be 15,8KB. Thanks! Now I can create a lot of new brigades for other countries! ^^
