how to play minor nations?

How do you play minor nations, Like tuscany .teutons and Sweden?

Make a new copy of the scenario file you want to use (renaming it) and open it with a word processor. You will see the abbreviations for the playable nations (FRA for France, HAB for Austria, etc.) and each nation will have additional information for it (this info can be ignored). Just change one of the abbreviations to that of the minor country you want to play (VEN for Venice, HUN for Hungary, etc.). When you start up EU, the new scenario file you made will be listed with the other scenarios and the country you added will be available.
