Hi all.

I'm looking for details regarding in-game exclusives offered to those who pre-order. Not the Stellaris dome skin or soundtrack, but rather the following item mentioned in an email I received.

"Surviving Mars is released March 15th, 2018. If you haven't already, make sure to sign-up as a colonist before then to receive cool in-game exclusives!"

I've heard mention of an exclusive "Paradox" (hardest) difficulty level. But am unsure how to secure it or anything else on offer for pre-orders.

I already own a Steam pre-release copy. I have a Paradox account. And have signed up for the Surviving Mars newsletter.

Is there anything else I need to do? How will the bonus content be distributed.

Thanks for any info. Can't wait for the game to release!

There would be the Trailblazer skins you can earn by entering Paradox' Pyramid marketing scheme and get 8 other people to sign up through your link...

Fortunatly they're not THAT hard to get. PM me and I'll show you an easy way.

I'm sure it'll scan your account upon playing and give you all the awards you've earned.

I seriously hope they release those later to everyne. I know I could just create a bunch of throwaway emails but I'm too lazy to do that just for some skins.

frankly this move is real scummy and hurts my decision to pre order now.

I was excited at first but when I signed into the website I'm greeted with a shilling campaign? ( The fact they have content that is behind a recruitment wall )

seeing the steam forums flooded with requests to click their custom links plus the random mail generators. the developers and PR screwed the pooch bad with this move.

Just saw the 'free-offers' you can get and what it takes and I agree it is a scummy thing to offer us for 'free'.

Just roll all those skins into a free-dlc for pre-orders and be done with it.

The skins aren't that great. Some would say that's an objective opinion but srsly, unless you have a kid thats gonna play that really likes HotWheels I'd suggest you forget about the skins.

A good suggestion if it weren’t for my OCD. I’m a hopeless completionist.

That said, what are the chances of the mod community instantly uploading the exact same skins, with or without minor deviations?
