Does any one know what all the "keyboard" shortcuts do?
I was trying to re-map the "W A S D" keys for when I am in DC mode during the sea battles.
I'm left handed, so trying to use my mouse and the left side of the keyboard at once is a pain.
I have managed to re-map the cannons Q & E to NP1 & NP1 but i want to re-map the "A =turn left / D=turn right / W=Full sail / S = Stop to the
Arrow keys.
I thought i had managed it but it all did was alter the camera angle/movement. :(

Also, can you place "move to / waypoint" markers in DC mode or do you have to click out to "RTS" mode to do so?

EIC could have all the makings / basics of a classic great game.. but there is lot of work required before it gets there. It is strangely addictive.. but shouldnt be as it falls a long way short in ease of use / presentation / gameplay etc. Hopefully, the coders will read and listen to the "forum comments" out there?

I haven't tried to change wasd<>arrows myself so I can't say for sure, but: You can edit the keybindings with notepad (Documents\East India Company\Config\keybinds.txt) as an alternative to ingame editing. Where it reads "left" you change to "a" and vice versa. Note that keys like "left" can be mapped to more than one action.

No, waypoints are for RTS mode only.
