ok i edited... now it crashes each and every time after i buy the title... and for some reason on the same save my demesne limit dropped from 11 to 7
 
Did you comment just pointed code?
 
there was another req that said someone already had to have the title i took that one out as well... maybe i messed up the formatting
 
ok after a few more tries... it seems i dont have to remove that has_holder condition for the title to be made available to me but it still ruins the game... how do i edit so it doesnt ruin the game anymore?
 
Don't edit it. You're reading the condition wrong. It reads that you can form it if the title is landed, has a holder, OR if it's unlanded you have to be of the proper culture. What you're trying to change would do literally nothing if the title is landed.
 
Indeed. The culture restriction wouldn't apply to k_andhra since it's not a titular title (it has de jure territory).

Do you have three duke titles or are you a king already?

If so, then we'd have to know your situation in-game. There's clearly something that's preventing you from getting creating the title, and it's probably something pretty obvious. But we're not mind-readers.
 
ok i tried rolling back all mod changes but my game is still screwed up... at least the last two saves... im not sure what to do now... except trying to get that particular version of the mod again... but im not sure which version it is and where to get it... im on CK2 2.3.3
 
ok i fixed my game and its working as before :D

this is how the card for the kingdom of Andhra looks... says nothing about three duchies ... i know it says i dont have the money but i was just a few pennies short when i made the screenshot... its not available even when i have the money

Err...what? The latest version is 3.08. If you're that far back...I don't even know what to say.

Regardless, you're clearly on a version which has the old kingdom formation requirements. Which, yes, appears to have a culture requirement if you're forming the title. I'm not going to advise you on how to mod the mod, however, so others can help you with that.

That's interesting, as that's only two versions ago -- yet the changes to the landed titles are from way further back then that. How are you having a different tooltip showing? Are you using some kind of mod on top of ours?

is the tooltip you should be seeing. That went into CK2Plus way more than two versions ago, so you can't be using 3.06.

Regardless, we were talking about the title based on the current landed_titles setup. You're clearly using something older, so as you were.
 
ok maybe i got my version from a dubious site and they labeled it wrong... i really dont remember it was like more than half a year ago... where can i get a proper version for my version of vanilla ck2
