FINALLY!!!! EU2 comes to Singapore!

I have a question though. When I start up EU2, it says 1.04 on the splash screen. When I look at the internal vesion number of eu2.exe, it says 1.03.

Which one should I believe?

I've also stubbornly tried to install the patch. The error message says something like EU2 is not installed on this machine.

Does this mean I've got 1.04 already and the patch doesn't recognize it?

Whatever it is, I'm off to play!! :)

And in case other Singaporeans read this

I got the game from a shop on the 3rd floor in Sim lim Square. It's just in front of the escalator. Don't remember the name of the shop. Sorry.

A bit expensive though. It was priced at S$59.90. The guy accepts NETS and credit cards.

Ubisoft released the game in a lousy DVD case with a miserable manual with really tiny fonts. Nothing as good as the EU 1 box. And don't even think about a map. No space in the DVD case.

But what can I say. I've been dreaming of EU2 for months.

UBI Soft version should be at 1.04. I don't see why they would release 1.04 in Europe and 1.03 in Singapore given their master was made with 1.04.

So you have the latest patch and when 1.05 comes out, you should download the UBI Soft's version. It should be available here :)

... is this the guy wth the English wife named Maria?.... she would be about 32 years of age, a snall pimple on the left side of her nose and a barely noticable limp. She has an 8 years old son who is always dressed in brown....... If it is this guy then you *do* have the 1.04 version already as that is what he ordered from us :)

hahahahahahaha...

well... that info was more for locals looking for EU2. Most of the other stores and even the superstore "Challenger" keeps giving me crap like "The distributor hasn't brought EU2 in yet" or just gives me a blank stare.

:)
