Whenever i click on a pickupable object my mouse gets locked to it and i keep moving to it until i stop holding down the mouse button. This has lead to many deaths in which i unwillingly walked into my own spell because i was unable to turn around. How do i make my mouse not lock on to pickupable objects?

You'll simply have to click somewhere other than on the item. That's the only solution I got!
