How to upgrade 1930 Gar ?

I been looking at the inf-tech tree for quite some time now, but could not figure out how to upgrade the 1930s gar units. Can anyone help me with this ?

I was expecting it somewhere in that 19xx organisation structure stuff, but i saw no change to the gar units at all. I play as Italy btw....maybe thats importtant for that issue.

It's a known issue. I'm sure it will be fixed in the 2.0 release.
