How to use transports on sea?

Hi.

I would like to start my question with a statement: I have bought this game and I have started reading the manual but as usual I am in a big hurry to start the game, so please can someone tell me, how do I load my soldiers onto the transports to get over the sea??

Move naval units from the harbor into the sea territory
Move land units from land territory to the naval units

Thanks for the answer. That is exactly what I am doing and I can´t get the soldiers on to the transports!

Can it have something to do with that the army I am trying to move is to large for the
ship(s)?

Yes, thats a problem

If the army you're trying to transport is too large to be moved onto the naval fleet, you'll have to make it smaller. i.e. take a detachement from your main army and leave it on land.

Make sure to check the weight number of the fleet to see that its equal to or higher than the weight number of the army.

yea and remember you cant load your troops in while your ships are in port.
