under the "battleships" 1 means 1 or 1000 like in EU?

But why would you consider spaceships in Stellaris the equivalent of EU regiments?
In EU 1 ship stands for 1 ship, so in Stellaris 1 ship will stand for 1 ship.
In EU 1 soldier does not stand for 1000 soldiers. 1 regiment stands for one 1 regiment, which includes 1.000 soldiers as a military unit, but the invidiual soldiers are considered after all, since causalities and the total number of soldiers is shown as a total number.
There are some flaws in that logic ;-) since 1 cog can then hold 1000 men, which isn´t the case in real life. I see them more like 1 cog is a small fleet of transport ship. But yes, one battleship must be one battleship in stellaris![]()
