No, because the HRE is fun, I enjoy the messiness. I am saying using "the HRE is uniquely decentralized" isn't a great argument for why it needs more locations than other empires, because if that is the logic, then yeah, all the major empires should function that way where the crownland is the land you hold personally and you need to wrangle your vassals into line to create modern states.

I think a lot of people are starting with "this is what I want" and working backwards to "this is why the game has to be this way." Just stick with the former, you want the HRE to be especially balkanized at game start because you think it's fun and you aren't as worried about the same fidelity being applied to other regions at game start, don't try and justify it.

Is there way more information, or just more information in sources a European can easily access? I would lean towards the latter, and that's a great example of the eurocentric focus people are complaining about.
If there's information which cant be accessed, then its suffice to say theres less information. Sources translated in English and widely disseminated vs 2 arabic manuscripts lost in a dictators mansion, will mean the European info is far more well known.

Man, that wasn't very mature of you. You seem to have spam reacted all my posts out of anger and some misconceptions regarding my intention. All I did was follow along a conversation and react to messages as I thought and felt about them. I meant nothing personal by it, especially not causing offense to you or anyone else.

I don't what you want from me
Proceeds to spam disagree with everything I've posted. The question is, what do YOU want from me?

all your takes are just bad, I'm allowed to have that opinion.
And you decided that in a single minute, just minutes after I disagreed with your posts?

Come on now. If this isn't a textbook example of childish lashing-out, then I don't know what is. I might even argue for it being a poor attempt at trolling or brigading. Regardless, if even not explicitly against the rules, I don't think this conforms to proper forum etiquette.

Several people believe location density and size are an issue because of how they affect the game. I am trying to show that the devs don’t think they are. You seem to be one of those people who believe its an issue. So I am showing information related to the thread and why the devs don’t think it’s an issue.
Keep in mind, these are the same devs who just stopped adding provinces in EU4 without adding the couple dozen more that were definitely needed (including a few Andes wastelands).

So, I'll reserve my right to disagree with them on the "correct" number of locations. Just like they have every right to ignore my nagging on about it :p

Which ones for eu4 would you say were necessary ?

1) I'd definitely not just follow my own list, but get the community involved, clearly giving how many will be added still (communicating a number a little bit lower than the number I'd actually still add)

2) At big chunk of them would be wasteland
3) At least half of them should be in South America, which got its final update really early
3) Looking at the map, I'd probably use the rest for Bohemia/Poland/Hungary, the southern belly of China, the region around the Urals (which has like 11-12 development provinces)
