Hi lovely community,

i'm still an absolute beginner when it comes to asset creation.

What do I have to pay attention to if I want to create a mansion that has three floors for example, but the entrance is on the middle floor?

Does the bottom floor then have to be in the negative area in Blender in relation to the z-axis?

I've already seen some such assets in the workshop (SoCal Laguna Homes), but I'm just wondering what exactly I have to pay attention to.

I look forward to your answers and am glad to have joined this community ♥

Kind regards, JJ

I am very late, but it is not too hard. You need to create a model, for specific terrain angle. Then you need to place in around rootpoint and prepare in editor. It means no automatic centering (don't use that buitton) and anually set lowest possible footprint. To make it be hidden under asset's mesh and to save original look of the place. But I can't tell you more, didn't created such assets.
