1-Further modified Lend lease event. Now some of the USA help will need to be transported through the atlantic to reach London with the potential U-Boat interception. Unfortunately it is not working with supplies but it does work for oil and the ai does create the convoys. Before you ask we can not use other than oil and supplies as event commands (Aregorn from proposed idea of Dec152000).

1-Further modified Lend lease event. Now all the USA help will need to be transported through the atlantic to reach Murmansk with the potential U-Boat interception. Unfortunately it is not working with supplies but it does work for oil and the ai does create the convoys. The soviets are oil producers so no need to though but still there are some troops to be transported and as human you may want to retrieve some of those supplies (Aregorn from proposed idea of Dec152000).

1-Replaced all artillery attachments from the OOB to Heavy divisions. Artillery attachments would be most probably deleted anyway by most just creating unnecessary micromanagement.

1- Reduced soviet research efficiency (Aregorn).

1-Recalibrated Transport capacity values to be country specific. This change was made for the human players of course, as the ai even though the change will be there will not really notice it. The Soviets had the biggest boost with a +20% bonus, as their strategy was mass combat so they should be able to mass big number of divisions without much penalty (Aregorn).

1-Added elite type corps for all countries attachable to mobile, mountain, marine and airborne units (Aregorn).

/Technology

1-Blitzkrieg is now giving +1 speed to all mobile units (Aregorn).
2-Reworked the elite corps concept. The old branch sp- rocket artillery (proposed by Dec152000) had been replaced for elite techs so that every country can develop elite type attachemnts. Elite SS attachments will be now researched there too, resulting in a much better organised tree (Aregorn).
*Naval_Doctrine
1-Disabled naval_port and naval_airfield strikes as they are currently not working properly and it is very easy to use it as an exploit to annihilate the ai fleets as carriers performing such an operation vaporised all their organisation without producing much damage. Hence if you harvour a nice carrier fleet in the attacked port you only need to sail out an counterattack the powerless enemy fleet most probably sunking their carriers without producing any damage (Aregorn). After testing there is no way it seems to disable the ai to perform such missions, only the human seems to be affected by the changes... we have another of those very serious Paradox bugs related to the new HOI2 missions. Coded yes, never tested before release it seems. Ok until we find another solution I increased significantly the mission efficiency for the ai and the naval morale, might help the ai a bit.

1-Scrapt all obsolete carriers and subs (Aregorn).

/HOI 2 1.2 Bugs identified

· (Modding) Gorund_defense command does not work
· (Serius) Air bases are supporting more than their maximum limit (actually any air base can support any number of air units so no need to improve existing air fields) naval bases seem to have the same problem although not sure how they were intended to be used.
· (Incredibly Serius) Some a.i. air missions seem to be assigned only after reload… don't need to tell how terrible this bug is... Independently of how annoying it might be, until it is sorted, you should frequently reload, at least ones a month if not more…
· (Incredibly Serius) Air missions like strategic bombing and naval attack at sea seems to take place very rarely… the new HOI 2 air warfare looks very nice on paper and much better than HOI in the theory but someone forgot to actually implement it for the ai…
· (Modding) The unit name command does not work as a trigger.
· (Modding) The under_attack trigger seems not to be working.
· Random events seem only to trigger once a year after continuous play without reload. If reload is done at least once a year random events will never take place.
· (Very Serius) Return-dmg from the ai files does not seem to be working and it is not defined in the save files either. The result is that the ai do not keep very damaged ships in port and send them into missions as soon as they get enough organisation.
· Air units performing air missions (e.g. naval strikes) cover all provinces of the mission area even when it is way beyond the range of the air division.
· The ship sunken report after battles is not accurate. Sunken ships at times are not reported in short engagements and not as a wad.
· (Modding) The division_exist and Division type triggers do not work.
· (Very serious) Naval missions to attack ports are nearly harmless for the defender, not for the attacker though which completely looses all organisation and becomes vulnerable to immediate retaliation by hostile fleets.
· (Serius) transport planes can airdrop beyond their range if the target is an airfield.
