I got 10 inmates.
That means we need to cook 10 food for them.
The quantity is set to 2 or even 3.

The overview says that the supply meets the demand aka 10 food cooked for 10 prisoners, all well!

Before this update, if it said 10 food cooked then 10 prisoners will definitely get their food, regardless of quantity or sort of.

Now, it's different and it must be a bug cos the chefs refuse to cook more than 10 food for 10 prisoners:
If the quantity is set to 2, a prisoner will get a food which reduces the supply from 10 to 8!!
This means only 5 prisoners will get their food, the other 5 will start to be hungry cos they didnt get their food and it will be too late for chefs to cook food for them.

If the quantity was set to 3, the supply would be reduced by 3. From 10 to 7 instead of 10 to 9 like before.
This is a HUGE problem and needs to be fixed quickly.

Another example. You got 300 prisoners, quantity set to 2.
Only 150 prisoners will get their food. The others may get their food if cooked on time.

I explained the lack of sufficiency for starter kitchens (straight from fast room template) in my thread to the size of fast-template canteens and your thread is a pretty good example otherwise of player complaints. The policy screen used to be optional but to be fiscally responsible, its mandatory to set to least until we can get catering DLC/FLC to improve efficiency.

Though i might have been a bit off about how many are eaten as i said three and saw others & my own prisoners taking three, but there's also reportedly two meals each, unless its somehow randomized. How fast they get to the serving tables too matters. Ontop of the CEO being unhappy about meal calculations for some reason.

Nothing to do with my issue afaik. It's a different one.
