I don't know if this is a bug, or my own misunderstanding. I bought this game today and have put in about an hour and I love it so far. But one thing that's driving me up a wall is Hugh Miller, the shotgunner you get during tutorial. I've noticed that if I don't move him and have him use his normal attack, that costs 1AP, he'll use it, and then it will skip to the next person's turn. Looking at his character I can see he still has 1AP left. I don't see any issues in his stats that would mean staying still and firing ends his turn. Other characters can fire twice, he's still got ammo in the gun.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

It is weird, but the rule seems to be that any two handed weapons end your turn, no matter how many ap you have left. So you can move and shoot, but not shoot and move (unless you've picked the skill that allows certain classes to do so).

It's a holdover rule from XCom (which had slightly different rules, but kinda set the trend) that I wish games would just do away with. AP should be AP, regardless of the order in which you use skills/movement.

Oh okay, I kinda forgot Xcom had that. I suppose for game balance; I just don't remember that ever being mentioned in game. Thanks!
