I am unable to play the game, any time I press play the game crashes.

Description​

I can get into the launcher but as soon as I press play the game crashes, it says "The last game save was created on a different version of the game (1.9.2.1). Resuming from it might cause the game to malfunction or even crash." I tried removing my mods, uninstalling the game, verifying the files, I deleted all game saves, uninstalled and reinstalled all mods and the game still wont launch.

Steps to reproduce​

Launch CK3 from Steam, press play, game crashes. Relaunch, remove all mods, press play, game crashes. Verify game files, press play, game crashes, relaunch. Uninstall all mods, reinstall, press play, game crashes. Relaunch, delete the entire game, reinstall, press play, game crashes. Relaunch, delete all game saves, game crashes, quit and make post on here.

I deleted the save, for unrelated reasons I had to get a new hard drive entirely and redownloaded the game and it still wont work. Its just the whole game, not a save.

Could you provide a crash folder?

It should be located in: C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes

Another thing - besides unsubscribing from all mods, did you try to purge CK3 Steam Workshop folder and did you manually delete all leftover files of the game when reinstalling?

Literally have the same issues, my game crashes the moment I start it.
Sometimes I manage to get to the world map, but then it closes by itself after a while.

Have contacted your help desk, they said to update my driver further, which I did. The problem keeps persisting.
I send them my logs and all, this is the last crash.

Haven't been able to play since the last updates.

@PHGDu - do you have exception.txt file? That would me most helpful when reporting the issue/searching our database for if it was already reported.

It should be in the specific crash folder.
