I have tryed to run this f...... game for 2 days, and all I can get out of it is the intro, and it isn't that great, at least not when you have watched it about 20 times, with out running the game.

I have a 350 mhz AMD K6-2, 128 MB RAM, Banshee graphic card, Sound Blaster 64PCI sound card.

To solve the problem I have tryed to:

Install all latest drivers
Defraged my HD
Install patch 1.09
Shut down everything but explorer/systray
run the game with no music

and all I get is the f...... intro.

Please, anyone, HELP!

For my friend the game tried to go out on the internet(i think it was EU might have been another game) but it i read somewhere how it could be turned off(think it was the readme file might have been on this site to, can remember it was sevral months ago)

I am having the same problem. I changed my geforce for a geforce pro and since the the game just quits to my desktop right after the intro, while the menu music starts and keeps on playing.
I did all of the suggestions listed and installed EU on 2 different harddrives and it still doesn't work.

Please help me out as I am horribly addicted to this great game....

As the game now crashes after you have changed the graphic card then I doubt it is a game fault.

A clue is that the game crashes after the intro. This usually indicates that your system is having difficulty changing to the required resolution.

Check out the graphics card settings etc.
EU will only run at 800 x 600 resolution. Try starting out with your desktop set to 800 x 600(16 bit) before launching the game.

It had to do with my monitor driver being set back to "plug and play" and for some weird reason didn't support 800*600. I installed my monitor driver and the prob was fixed.
Thanx for your help as it set me on the right path, as checking if my pc supports 800*600 was not something I would have thought of...

No problem - I am glad you can now play again.

.... err EU2 (when it come out) will run in quite a few Resolutions so you should have no problem with that! (Hint)
