In Armageddon1.0a and 1.1, Long range type of submarines usually can escape from early type of destroyer or light cruisers' ASW.
But now Long range type of submarines are easyly sunk by any types of destroyers or light cruisers in Armageddon1.2 patch.
Is it a realistic phenomenon in WWII?

The ASW mission has never worked (at all). It was fixed in patch v1.2
