All things MP in the MP forum please and thankyou.

I have the same problem. Using a router with my 2 machines, DMZ set to the host but it won't work, no computer can reach the game (unless I use internal IP of the host then I can connect on my 2nd machine, but that won't help much).

If I connect to a non-routered comp then I can only connect to it with the DMZ comp, which means I can only use 1 of my 2 comps to play the game at any time (stupid me buying 2 copies...). And that's not an ideal situation either since I was planning on having 2 of my comps serve as dedicated host (starting the game with Tannu Tuva or some backwater country on the machine).

Have tried everything regarding routers in other posts but to no avail. Same problem with both Valkyrienet and Internet connections.

I really love the game but IMO MP games are what this game is about and with this much problem I'm about to uninstall it and throw the discs out the window. Can't see why HOI2 should have so much problems with MP, I play dozens of other games without any problems connecting.

same here, this is bull$hit, sorry, a little peeved, why is it so hard to make something simple, non-network understanding people can figure out?
