I get permanent time outs when using the forum

Hi,

Surfing the Paradox forums is currently a pain. I often have to reload the side I want to see several times until it finally will be displayed. This is because I get lots of timeout errors when I try to load any forum pages from Paradox. Same happens at Gamersgate. Other websites I visit however are working perfect.

Just for your information I am from Germany using Windows 7 and Google Chrome as my internet browser. I also tried it with Internet Explorer and Firefox but it is always the same.

Any idea?

I am more or less sure it is the forum servers.
The only other explanation could be that the connection between Germany and Sweden is pretty bad but that is contradicted by the fact that other Swedish websites just load fine no matter what.

We have a problem with the forum performance. We are currently working to upgrading the hardware and I hope you will notice a big difference in about two weeks.

I had the same problem about a year ago. The problem went away after a few weeks, I never found out what caused it.

That is not much help for you right now, but at least you know that more people had this problem.
