CKII, EU4, HOI4, Stellaris, Vic2. All of them I got from steam and I could access the game files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\. However I got CKIII in the Microsoft store and it seems like the files are inaccessible. Is there any way I can get the game files without piracy?

You can follow the steps below on how to install Windows Store apps on a separate drive:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on System.
  3. Click on Storage.
  4. Under "Save locations," and on "New apps will save to," select the new drive location.

Paradox should make the core game files available on the forums, e.g. the commons and localization folders. They're but a couple of hundred mb, and 99% of all modding is done with them.
