So I wanted to play HoI2 after school, but:

Nothing works, doesn't matter what I click on.

Unistall HoI2? :(

hmmm... I've never seen that problem before, but my first recommendation would be to see if the file in question exists or not.
Is the file part of a mod or is it part of the vanilla setup of the game?

Make a copy of any save games you want to keep.

Then uninstall and reinstall the game, then patch to 1.3a

Let me know how it goes.

Delete it then.

Delete all those files and folders.
Your system is a mess. :)

You should stick with one instal, your problem is you run multiple installs.

"I deleted the key(s)."

I'm not sure I understand, but did you delete the registry keys? If so, sorry.

If not, start > run > regedit, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > then it should probably be listed under Paradox Entertainment, yes? So I would delete this, because it is probably referring to this to ask if the game is installed or not.

Sorry if this is not correct, but as I understand you just deleted the directory. This is all I can think of. :)

Show me the new search for HOI

I did just that. But Paradox Interactive.

Well you still have a registration key or Installshield file some where.

Search the registry for Paradox and HOI

Delete the stoney road, and the HOI one you pointed out, well the one above that is also a Paradox folder, looks like for HOI1, If you never play that I would remove that from your registry as well.
