I making historical maps on my own. So I can help with that, i have all cutures and empires from 10 000bc to today on my own Americans maps. I wanted 3 dived maps it for players who dont have PC from NASA and loading of game take more than 15 minutes. You will be able to choose in launcher menu one of 3 maps so it can load it faster. And some modders can make all 3 maps together for players with PC from NASA. And adding Vineland as part of America is good idea, because Vikings lived there and in genes of north amrican natives was found part of north european DNA. So Vikings live there much longer as we predicted before. And adding central and south america is just for fun.
Why would you want a whole map thats just the americas, when much of the lands would be stone age tech, and the vikings only briefly interact with it?

Genetical test on native american population shows that it was long term asimilation between Vikings and Natives. So they were very strongly influenced. Maybe thats why north americans natives look more Europoid than central and south americans?

How could there be long term assimilation when the period of contact between vinland and the natives was so short?

Seriously, what is up with you people?

Welcome to the official CK3 forums, where the most hardcore CK2 stans and CK3-doomers roost. The former because who wants to talk about CK2 in the CK2 forums, and the later because truly who is a more hardcore fan than the 'I lost hope in this game years ago but still buy every DLC and talk about it multiple times a week' fan?

Typical forum rating dynamics and evaporative cooling of opinions does the rest. Here, a small-but-consistent 3-to-5 group of users willing to downvote or argue on any given topic can shape a significant user climate perception, especially since you can see the individual counts of the disagree / dislike X's versus approvals. In Reddit, you might not even realize five people disagreed with you due to net +/- showing. Note that this applies to the dev diaries as well, which are flooded with temporary / non-permament posters who often do nothing on the main forum, but are too many for any doomer group to meaningfully impact.

The (much) larger user base on the dev diaries, or on Reddit in general, lets pro- and anti- opinions coexist more easily. Especially on reddit you can get magnitudes more engagement in either direction than on the forum, and the CK3 reddit climate (and ignore feature) limits the incentive / scope / impact of down-votes as a forum-shaper.

Alright, now let's return to the world where only 2-3 of the actual content DLC have a positive review rating on Steam. "OnLy PoSiTiVe RaTiNgS ArE rEaL! NeGaTiVe OnEs ArE ReViEw BoMbS!" (Though to be fair any spikes from 1-2 months ago probably are review bombs from that Hoi4 drama)
