I install V:R 2.01 and the version is still 1.04

I have installed the same V:R that I use on this computer, on my new laptop. Everything works fine except that the version number is still 1.04 (on my home computer using the same install it changed to 2.01 like it should).

What's up with that?


Thing is, I don't care about the number, but I'm trying to set up a LAN game and since the versions are identified completely differently, I can't connect. :mad:
 
Did you install V:R from CD or from GamersGate? Are you sure you installed it over Victoria and not in a separate folder or a subfolder? Did you install patch 1.04 before installing V:R?
