I am UK. I have prepared many divisions and placed them in the Maginot Line in August 1939. When war appears, I attack Germany arriving to Berlin, but all of the conquered territories are conquered by France, even they do not count with a single division in German Territory. I want to count with German IC, so it is important for me who is the final owner of the territory. How can I avoid it? Playing DD V1.3. Thanks.

Your problem is that you are attacking from French territory, and thus getting supplied by the French. The game counts who gets the territory by the ownership of who is supplying the attack. If you want to own the territory yourself, you will need to launch an amphibious assault from your own territory. Of course, you could always defeat Germany, then, when peace is declared, kick France out of the allies and attack them.

Bear in mind that certain territories will revert away from you once the German surrender event fires. If you want to maximise your holdings, make puppets of Greece, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Wallonia, Flanders, Austria. I think that's them all. France, Belgium and Holland will get their territory back, but not the bits in Wallonia and Flanders. To maximise what you get, don't take Berlin until you are ready, and when you do, make a puppet of Germany too.

If you let the surrender event fire normally, the game tends to divise by historical lines rather than by the reality of the game, which is fair enough as it can't be expected to cater for every game. So the puppeting redresses the balance. Oh and don't bother conquering territory that the Germans have taken from the Russians, you don't get to keep it :)
If you want to keep Vichy holdings in Africa etc, make sure you control Vichy itself when you annex. The French territories will go to France, but you keep the rest.

Regarding this thread...

1. Relinquish military control over france (whenever you remember you can)

2. Attack with your units. Support attack with the french.

3. As you are democratic you can not declare war...What to do next in febreaury 1940?

You can switch on 'democracies can declare war' in options.
