So when I purchased a new computer I decided I would buy the Conquest Pack as well. I thought of it as a good way to fill out my Paradox game library and get EU2 as well.
After fighting to try and patch my game (and wondering why the heck the "Ottoman Empire" was listed as "Turkey") I hop on the board and find out that apparently Paradox doesn't support my "version" because a different distributor sold it (which seems totally odd of course since EU2 remains THEIR game, THEY had to sell it to Strategy First to distribute, so NOTHING in terms of support should change...but whatever)
So I check out the Strategy First web page and, no, no patches offered there.
Which faces me with the prospect of having paid for EU2, a second time mind you, and not being able to enjoy playing it because it's not updated completely.
Is the situation hopeless?
