Allright i have 2 questions. The music is very choppy on the game. What can i do to fix this. Also i tried to download the patch, but had problems. I did with both options ( ie to a disk and from this location) AFter downloading to the disk a small shortcut appeared on my moniter. After I clicked on it i got the following message.

Windows cannot find MS.exe

this program is needed for opening files of typ 'zipfil'

What do i do to ensure that I can download the patch correctly? What else do i need to do?

The music can be choppy when you are working a lot on the HD. Might be you could do with some more RAM. How much RAM do you have now?

Down load WinZip. IT IS FREE!!!. Then when you d/load the patch unzip it into a EU2 folder. That should work. Music just turn off. IT takes a lot of RAM to play EU and Music.;)

I dont have EU2 (commercial release) yet so could be wrong - however I thought that the Patch came with an automatic installer/unpacker that didnt need Winzip?

As you posted this on this forum I must point out that Winzip isnt free. If you use it and like it you are supposed to pay for it.

well yes you should pay, but how should I know if he will like it? He may try it and not like it. So he dose not have to pay. That is what I have in mind. I did not try to suggest that he should use it all the time without paying.:D :D

actually I needed to unzip it first and then click on the EU patch icon. Then it installs itself. But I did had to unzip it first. At the other hand I am not pc expert so I may do something wrong

You need the Zip file support in Windows. Either go to www.winzip.com and download their utility (remember to buy it after you 30day trial expire) or install the windows zip utility:
Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, Windows Setup, System tools, and check the box beside "Compress Folders", Click the ok boxes until you're back to the desktop. It might require restarting to work. You should be able to use Windows Explorer to open Zip files.

Alternatively, you can download a freeware called Powerdesk at www.ontrack.com . It's a replacement for Windows Explorer and it can handle zip files by default.
