I want to try the newer versions of this now but dont know what i need or where to get it

so could you list exactly what i need to get and where to get it. i have HOI2DD1.3a.

if you have HOI2DD1.3 then all you need is to download the 0.31 version of core from the download section at www.terranova.dk and choose Doomsday at the Doomsday/armageddon choice listed in when running the installer.

After that you have the choice of installing one of the 2 gfx packs also located at www.terranova.dk

GIP and Core have some cooperation, so it shoukd work, at least it seems to do fine with my recent istallation.
For skifs icons some conversion was done shortly ago - it should be somwhere here in forums. Works for me too atm.

where some nice guys from core solved my (amatuerish) install-probs and offer graphic-enhancement from core itself.

never mind i got everything working now, its great.

One more question, i want to replace the GERMAN flag and JAPAN flag from CORE to the ones from GIP, what do i do?

Overwrite the \mod-CORE2\gfx\map\flags\flag_GER.bmp and \mod-CORE2\gfx\map\shields\shield_GER.bmp with the ones from GIP. (change GER to JAP for the japanese flags)

Another question, the Ai in CORE, is it made to be more real, or realistic, in any case beter, or just made to use the new thecs?

The CORE changes to the AI deal mostly with being able to research and build properly. We're looking at the combat AI for the next major version.

Ok then, i think thats what this mod really needs is beter ai, after all, the changes you make to the equipment is no good if you cant use it.
