Description of problem
I:R Does not run on mac

What platform are you playing on?
Steam

What game version are you running?
1.2

Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.
Hellenistic world flavor pack,
Epirus flavor pack

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The game opens fine, but after a few minutes my computer freezes, and stop taking normal mouse and keyboard input. I can force power off but nothing else.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Open Imperator on a Mac running OS X 10.14.6, with the 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB graphics card.
Start a game.
Wait five to fifteen minutes, or until the computer crashes. You can be actively playing or not, paused or unpaused, it has not made a difference for me.

Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB graphics card.
FYI the game is not supported on Intel video on any OS.

Has the game ever run for you on this hardware? Or never? I ask because it looks like you have some mods active:
Mod:

It worked on release for about 100 hours, but since 1.1. it only lasts about ten minutes.
The only mod I sometimes used was the icons for beta mod, the other one was a mod I made as a tutorial. It’s probably my graphics card alas.

When you have one of these crashes can you start the game right up again? Or you need to wait a while or reboot before it will go?

Make sure Vsync is enabled in the game's settings.

I'm in the same situation than augustuscaeser2, he described perfectly my case.

At least in my situation, when these crashes occur, I have to force restart my mac since it doesn't respond to mouse or keyboard.

What temperatures do you see on your CPU and GPU before you start the game? Then in the main game menu, then after playing for a period?

I use Macs Fan Control for this purpose but there are many others.

Also an Intel video, or what is your hardware?

I will look about temperature but it's nothing special. It gets more hot while playing minecraft for instance.

My hardware:
MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017)
Processor: 1,8 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB

Can run other pdx games without problems, and also I:R, it works just fine, loads fast, and everything is perfect except for this crash.

before playing is around 50º, 70ª in main menu, 100º while playing.
There's the problem for certain, anything over 80c is an issue. Best is probably fullScreen mode with Vsync on and the same resolution as your Mac desktop; if you still hit over 80c like that you may been hardware help here. Macs Fan Control can push the fans faster, that might help too.
