I got an error on the game that pulls up the prompt "ck2 has stopped working" when I open up the lobby. I looked around the forum to find any solutions to this problem, and it was to do a clean reinstall of ck2, unfortunately, I was not on windows 7 but rather windows 8.1. I truly tried to do everything I could to fix this issue without deleting anything, and then I finally came to the solution to just wipe everything I have on the game, even the paradox interactive file. I tried to reinstall the game through steam like it was fresh, and it didn't work. It just gave me the update window, and then it said the connection failed. I practically spammed the "play game" button. This is really infuriating.

So your error now is a Steam one where it won't install this game at all, is that right?

Can it install any other game from Steam?
