As we know, every dome is kinda an own world without connection to the outside except some facilities. Personally, I don't like this for the smaller dome variants, because they don't have the "city feeling" like the big dome imo.
I would love it, if you could group smaller domes together, so they can share their inner life. Something like the following:
Small Dome Group:
- a maximum of three domes can be linked together via a tunnels
- the third dome has to be linked with the two others domes (so they are arranged like a triangle)
- tunnels can be placed at every entrance and require some sort of maintence (polymer would be my choice)
- the overall comfort will be reduced because the people have to move between the domes to fulfil their needs
Medium Dome Group:
- maximum of two linked domes
- the tunnel requires maintence
- loss of overall comfort
Any other domes can't be linked together. The mega dome would be still the best choice in every case, while the grouping could help in beginning for an overall higher maintence.
I haven't posted it in the suggestion section, because before I do, I wanted to hear some thoughts from the community to "finalize" it. I hope, that's no problem.
