IC Not working.. About pissed with the whole works!!

I've had issues with this before, and never really got IC to work right... But anyway I recently got a new machine.... Win 7 12 gig ram, and the works to go with it... Should be able to run anything right?? Not IC for whatever reason. I did my installs in the exact order as follows
HOI 2
1.3A patch
HOI DD
1.3 Patch
HOI Arma
1.2 Patch
IC
1.07 Patch

I put everything in the dd folder that wasn't vanilla HOI. Each step of the install I tried the games to see if it worked, and all was good until I got to IC... and then it all went to hell.. First, scenario wouldn't load. Then after I had to CTL+ALT+Del out, and try to go back in it it keeps giving me crap about an excel file not found, and then after a small amount of tweaking it goes back like I don't have DD installed, and says please install latest Milestone... Please if anyone can help me you'll save me a great deal of swear words. Thanks....

Why did you install HoI2vanilla? HoI2DD is a standalone add-on. And what v1.07 IC patch is that? The Most current patch is v1.02

I think he is referring to Revision 7 of Iron Cross: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?514085-IRON-CROSS-(1.01)-Revision-7
I believe the problem is that you didn't install patch 1.01 of Iron Cross (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?512196-Patch-1.01-available-here!) before Rev 7. In fact, you can read in Rev 7 thread:

Requirements
- Iron Cross 1.01

So I believe the correct installation order is:
- IC
- IC 1.01 Patch
- IC Revision 7
