Why would you give Austria Hungary its own tag? You can just change that the country is called through the text.csv.

In case Austria-Hungary splits up earlier than IRL, for example if dissent goes sky high or the country gets annexed while Germany still fights.

If you are going to make Britain, Canada, Australia etc a single country, should the country name be "British Empire" rather than "United Kingdom"?

Matter of taste. ;) You could think of it that you are the British government that give production and military orders to the other countries (that do exist if you think really hard ;) ) or as you think, that you rule the British Empire with your magic hand. :D

Takes two seconds to edit so it isn't really a big issue. :)

doesn't matter to me but, UK stands for United KINGDOM so that name pretty much encompasses the whole of the British empire. But then again as mentioned before British Empire sounds so much better.:D

United Kingdom stands for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland IIRC. Well, I've changed the name to British Empire following the majority in this thread, so, nothing more to say. :)

England + Scotland + Wales = Great Britain

Great Britain + Northern Ireland = United Kingdom

hence United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, thus encompassing its four constituent parts. :)

British Empire is far more accurate if we are including the dominions of Australia etc.. as part of the core provinces of the British player.

Besides it sounds, as you say, much better.

Back to the beginning of the thread, am I right in assuming the following:

A: German leaders have ID tags in the number range specified. i.e. 21001 and upwards.

B: Leaders and events must have different ID numbers. So if, Crown Prince Willhelm is 21001, then an event cannot have the same number.

Actually, they can be the same, meaning that German events start with 21001, 21002, 21003, leaders start with 21001, 21002, 21003, and ministers also.

Thanks, that makes things a lot clearer...

I think these ID codes will also be needed, perhaps?
Code:
Ireland 63001- IRE
Estonia 64001- EST
Latvia 65001- LAT
Lithuania 66001- LIT
Poland 67001- POL
Byelorussia 68001- BLR
Ukraine 69001- UKR
Georgia 70001- GEO
Armenia 71001- ARM
Azerbaijan 72001- AZB
White Russians 73001- SIB
Soviet Union 74001- SOV
Using SIB for Admiral Kolchak's Whites means that the RUS code would belong to Denikin's Whites. Unless anyone thinks it would be better the other way around ;)

Probably also need codes for the Austro-Hungarian successor states, but I've not thought that far ahead yet.

Another code:

Code:
Makhnovshchina 75001- U17

This will also require changes to country.csv:
Code:
U17;LightRed;SOV;MIN;X
and to text.csv:
Code:
U17;Makhnovshchina;;;;;;;;;;x
