I was thinking about making a scenario in which the world is divided into 8 empires and everyone can see everything. Everyone has max techs and has European tech tree. Each empire will be roughly balanced and all provinces containing the same product (sugar, gold, iron) will have the same population. Now I have 2 questions.

1. Has anyone already made a scenario like this?
2. Would anyone like to play a scenario like this?

BTW: The scenario would be aimed at multiplayer, not single. However, single would be possible for practice, since the AI sucks it isnt really a challenge.

You're right about it not being a challenge :D Since I don't play multiplayer (my internet connection isn't good enough to even consider it) it wouldn't serve me any good at all; but it sounds like a good idea. It would complement the existing Fantasia scenario where everyone starts equally with nothing; make a scenario where everyone starts equally with everything. :)

If you could make it, I think it would be A LOT better than the standard Fantasia, which imho sucks.
I don't like Fantasia because of the colonization mania you have to do... But your scenario could solve it of course. If you could balance it, it would be cool

I might play it when i get my new coputer. This noe is not good enough for multiplayer :(

That could be nice.
Some suggestions.
Two countries in Europe?
One in Notth America?
One in South America?
One In Africa and middle east?
One in the East Indies, australia and indochina?
One in Rest of Asia?

That was just my suggestions.
Really looking forward to it :)
Was is it going to be called?
Fantasia 2000? :D
Fantasia Gold?
Fantasia - Ultimate War? :D

nice i dea i guess for those that like to play something totally different, my favor though will still fall on igc.gc with a few mods...im too much a history buff to go far astray, one of reasons i stopped Call to Power and the other civ games..it was too bland..i like having history there as a guideline but not totally controlling...when i do something i can go back and say wow i managed to save this nation or beat that one...in a fantasia setting this sort of pride doesnt have the same meaning...also with everyone at full tecyh and all lands explored you eliminate the skill used in tech research vs tax spending and you eliminate colonization aspects of the game...kinda like taking the ball out of soccer and removing all the players legs...it defintely wont be the same game anymore...good luck though..thats a lot of work ahead of you

1. With regards to names for nations, I intend on writing the scenario description as roughly saying that history took a different route and by 1492 the following super-powers had emerged; Roman Empire, Mongolian Empire, Carthage or Nubia, Iriqouis Confederation, Incan Empire, India, China, and some other nation to be decided during creation; depending on where I need to place it.

2. With regards to a name for the scenario, I think Fantasia is a retarded Disney name, so I wont use it. However, I am open to suggestions because I havent thought of a good one yet.

3. With regards to the Civilization bashers, open your minds or dont play my scenario. Your decision. I hate to be rude, but I am tired of people telling me that anything unhistorical isnt fun. Using the EU game structure to play a uniquely oriented experience is the goal of this scenario. I dont want to force everyone to play my scenario. It is by no means an IGC. So play it, or dont. I dont really care. I am making it for me anyway.
