Well maybe 2.2 was better after all :D
 
Sorry, I'm British and love playing England-I liked the CB shields as they were. Besides, all the change really does is hamper a weak AI even more. Ireland used to be an extremely rare appearer-now it does it every game, sometimes with the entire Island! Hello England, oh, I see you're Kaput again!:(
 
This seems to be the current trend, but I haven't noticed it-I beefed up their armies before my latest game but.....there goes the Marches again (and Calais, but that's normal.) I'm expecting to see Ireland soon after they start converting.
 
2.2 was better but 2.3 does not suck!

Calling for your own immolation Vulture-you did agree with me in the end that 2.2 might have been better.:D And I basically agreed with Gurli that it sucked, although with better explanation.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far.

I'm looking forward to a version 2.4 though, given the fairly trenchant criticisms of aspects of 2.3. When's Doomdark get back from his vacation?:)
