I was playing the iron weasel scenario and I tried to fly over the russian patrolboat at low altitude with my poseidon, to identify it. I could not get an hostile marker until i swiched on my radar. Is this a bug or a feature?

Iron weasel starts in darkness, so visual is no good except on super-short range.

I just tested, and you're right. I am thinking that the IR should realistically be able to ID even a small patrol vessel at that short short range, so, it's not a bug but probably worth a tweak. Noted.
