@snajper06

Actually, you already have the Wallonia symbol at your icons. Finish the set and then I'll simply add the effect to it.

@LeonidOst
Real Kolchak's troops and Kolchak's troops from movie

From "Chapaev"? Well yes, I know those were rather ahistorical, yet since we are talking about icons for half-fictional revolter, feel free to use them as well.
You were also going to show me troops of the FER (ДВР). Although, since Primorsk has a dinstinktively "non-communist" flag, you should rather use White and Imperial troops as a basis.

@Van der Gent

Do you still have any of your unfinished sets, like Yugoslavia? We could add them too and them to complete by ourselfes.

Here are some of my work. They're just modifications to SKIF icons, but shows that many of the minors armies can be made historically accurate in a relatively easy way.
Chile

Argentina

In case you didn't notice, he is from Chile. I think he knows his country's terrain best, no? ;)

They look great, btw. :cool:

HI !

I am preparing a few icon sets for the new CORE. It is not official and I am not a member of the team, but I am keen on adding icons for the state I enjoy playing + some others - mainly in the Balcans/EE.

If you don't mind I will use your icons for the purpose.

Of course there are some, key differences - militia is replaced with reserve infantry and most of divisions comes with 5 models (for example for inf, res, cav, gar, mot, mount it is 1930, 1935, 1939, 1943, 1947) - so infantry and militia icons are used sometimes twice.

There is a number of problems with some sets - small or large.

For example 1939 BELorussian infantry appears to show a guy with a Panzerfaust (!!) while CZEchoslovak soldiers appear in some strange green with Avia 199 interceptor not only flying above a desert, but also bearing ISRAELI markings.

If some additional effort was made with CZE models (cavalry, garrisons) I would really be greateful.

Cheers !

My other computer is dead. :( So there's no way I can get to those files. I'm going to have it repaired, hopefully I will be able to keep all stuff on my drive.

uh? I'm referring to my human icons , I'm using your tanks and planes

:rolleyes:

Anyway. Maybe you could also research a bit where did LA countries with in-game navies (Chile,Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil) get their ships from (either built or bought) so we could compile more adequate naval sets.

Rather easy ;). Chile used british ships and later American. Argies BB's are from USA, some destroyers came from Spain but later they switched to American vessels too. Brazilian BB's were made in British shipyards.
I'll make a more profound research ;)

Basically the idea was to find out whose naval set's should we convert to compile the LA naval sets. As I don't have HOI2 at the moment, how about I recompile the Chile naval icons (earlier British, later - American) while you compile the sets for Brazil and Argentina. Since neither seem to be able to build ships, you can simply check what ships they have at the start of each official scenario and convert those from other sets.

EDIT: Here you go First models are British, later are American (although BBII is British - they have no BBI in scenarios), subs are generic.
