For Example:Vichy France's appearance do with both Germany and France, then will this event be stored in France's or Germany's event file?
I've checked it and found it in the France's file. However, why can it be displayed in the Germany player's screen, I didn't find any marks showing that the event should be displayed in Germany player's screen, then who tell the computer to do the showing?
Thanks!

An event will be stored in the file for the country designated in the code. You'll notice a line saying country = TAG in there. If an event sequence has events for two (or more) countries, the sequence will be distributed over the files of the countries concerned.

Quick question about two events : SOV DOW in 1942 and HARD CORE

Where are these two events hiding? I've been all through the USSR files, and I don't see the DOW there...

Same thing for the HARD CORE events... if a helpful soul could point them out to me, that would be great...

I'm playing .64.

I don't know about the first (it should be in one of the Russian event files), for hardcore events search in core_Hard.txt ;)

There's no event for USSR declaring war on Germany in 1942. It's done by the AI if Germany is perceived to be weak, just the same way as a human player would take advantage.

Thank you, Steel. Is there a way to make the AI check to see if Germany is at war with anyone else before it does the DOW?

Oh, and what exactly is it checking to make this determination? Divisions on the boarder? Or just total number of divisions? I have this game that I'm playing where I'm not at war in 42...
