First of all it would be a dream come true! I would support it wholeheartedly. Instant buy of the whole package, same as the former two. Aric Rex and The Herald of Glory are a cherished members of my official Godir library.
That being said I would love for some old flames of AOW 1 and 2 to come back. I would be thrilled if the Dark Elves make a comeback in some form of an eldrich Lolth inspired culture. I know that we kind of have them, however I miss the Spider Queens, I miss the Executioneers and most of all I miss the Blade Dancers. Put some enchanted weapons spell on a couple of them and see them cut a swathe through the enemy lines. Can't replace that! Yet... but perhaps there is a hope for that.
Other than that I really miss Mother Mab. I came to love the track in the AOW 2 soundrack (it simply said Earth Song) after my glorious raids with my butchers. It is a cool song and very fitting for our Giant Kings new additions. But really Mother Mab was a glorious leader, wise and old as the foundations of Athla, where she ruled over her goblins, probably.
Besides, we really need a proper Water DLC or at least a Water based dwelling. I miss the mermaids, I miss the syrens, I miss the Lord of the Sea in AOW 3, who could call a Thunder Storm. Is there a fantasy without mermaids? I know they are kind of a cliche for some, perhaps, but for me, they remind me of the Merfolk of Civilization Test of Time. I would love to have an underwater layer of the world too! Not many strategy games pride themselves with such an exploration of the ocean depths.
And the feature I am most hopeful to see is a good, prized, cherry on top Empire mode. I bet we all do...
And as final words I wish to say that I am proud and gratified by the progress that this game has accomplished and the innovations that each new DLC brings to the impressive legacy of AOW 4. This is already the longest supported game of Triumph! I pray that it becomes a "purple tier", "forever game" (I've been watching PDX reports). I certainly don't want it to stop yet...

Perhaps You, Dear Community also have wishes for features, characters, stories and mechanics, old and new, that never came to light yet. In fact I am sure of it! Let's all here discuss whether we would like the game to continue and if so, how, with what, and to where. According to me this game has immense potential for growth and continuity and yes, I do believe that there is still unfinished business.

What do You think?

Kind Regards to All!
And a big Thank You to Triumph and PDX for Season Pass 2.

I want to bathe in the blood of my enemies with real vampire tomes!
In general I think a gothic horror dlc would go over well with the community. It is not high on my personal list but if it makes a lot of people happy plus maybe draw in (new or returning) players then it is definetely welcome.

I feel like there is room to add some of the old units from past games we don't have as subculture units for the existing cultures. Others could show up in future DLC tomes assuming we do get season 3 which would be great.

My money is ready already.

Everyone talks about vampires, assuming the next DLC gives us Archons in full glory and cute angel girls like the older games i hope S3 gives us Rogue back and expands accursed demons.

I am not familiar with the previous AoW fantasy games but I like the idea of AoW4 new dlcs being built around its lore. I would like Triumph follows this path. I like when a universe makes sense and when it has an intriguing history behind that connects all the game elements.

Empires & Ashes was heavily based around Age of Wonders 3 lore, Eldrich Realms was heavily based on Age of Wonders 2 Shadow magic, i suppose Archon Prophecy will have many callbacks to Age of Wonders 1

I bought the second expansion pass, and I've got to say I am blown away by the changes. I hadn't really researched them at all so I was going in blind and just about lost my mind when I got hit by one of the intrigue happenings.

Say it quietly, but to my mind its the king of 4x, and I've been playing the genre since Civ 2. As others have said, if there is a third pass I'm definitely buying it.

In the thread I linked above with my ideas for more dlcs I drew heavily from earlier games (specifically age of wonders shadow magic as that's the one I'm personally most familiar with).

There are certain themes that were strongly present in earlier games that are somewhat lacking in this one (greek/Roman, desert/egyptian/Arabian, water/aquatic, rogues, driders/arachne and the like). So there is definte room for expansion while still keeping true to the franchise.

Yeah really in my mind Amplitude is the only other studio out there giving Triumph any competition. It feels like Firaxis has been phoning it in for a while with Civ. Hell the new one pretty much blatantly rips off competition.

I just wait season #3!
-more bone head for Wightborn
-day/night cycle
-more outfits (instead of new forms, just deepen the ones that exist)
-weather effects + can be from area spells (storms/snow)
-classic map editor

cant wait Archon Prophecy!

with each DLC the game gets better and better - fact
it's just criminal to end it on the second season :c
I am ready to watch such a series for a very long time! Hope many players agree with me.
also want sales transform at big numbers to please devs as well)

How likely is S3, even? Have sales for S2 been strong?

Most of the people I saw providing mainstream coverage for AoW 4 seem to have skipped S2, sadly.

I have to echo sentiment that I would love a gothic horror DLC and/or an aquatic eldritch horror DLC. The pieces for the first one are all already in the game; we'd just need a couple of things to tie them all together. My vampire countess is very sad that she does not have a proper coach to ride around in. :(

Honestly more than vampires though, which we can already currently kitbash together, we need WEREWOLVES. The classic endless war between Lycan and Nosferatu! And if we're doing that... um. Can we get day/night cycles? That would be cool. And/or tomes that cause day or night to happen?

Can we get a Masquerade too? Maybe Vampirism and Lycanthropy isn't even a tome or cultural trait, but a SECRET you get. Passed around like the strategic resources. Oh I went to trade with my neighboring city state, and they are offering a MYSTERY THING. Oh oops it was a CRIMSON KISS and now I am a VAMPIRE!

Eldritch horror could help expand water gameplay in interesting ways and pave the way for high fantasy mermaid kingdoms later. Or if people want mermaids first that's okay too I guess.
