Hello Commanders,

With the new update coming today and the sale in the Paradox Store, there will be a new and returning players in Multiplayer Noobies, please be nice to them and dont flame them if they are in your team but rather help them and guide them to MP discords or teaching videos and maybe play 1-2 more games with them and give them a few more tipps :) If they are on the opposite Team maybe dont fully meme rush them and most important dont mock them for not being a top player, rather give a short constructive critique or just a nice GG WP :)

See you on the battlefield :)
(PS if you wanna flame someone flame me ;))

Players always come back for a few weeks after an update and quickly disappear. Nothing new really.
Still nothing on 10vs10 to make it work, nothing improved on lobbies, nothing on the retreat issue near trees, the ideas around tanks in forests are definitely buried following the community reactions. And the two new decks are mainly composed of same units.
It's just life support now.

Havn't played in 3 months and not planning to come back unfortunately.

Played a few games. Had fun, then i was struck by the dreaded RNG crap that is filled with this game. You know, set up perfect shot with ur 2 star tank only to have him miss. Then have the 1 star tank u were shooting 1 shot you. Yep.....................

Not to be mean but that's how engagements can go sometimes if you constantly take 1vs1 battles with your tanks. If you can, before engaging you should try panicking the enemy tank with artillery or an air strike to make them less accurate, and if those aren't options you shouldn't try to 1vs1 a tank that has a good chance of killing you with return fire. This game reinforces time and again that fair fights are for suckers and that depending on anything other than a 100% chance can be very costly.
Some people find that frustrating, just like they do with something like XCOM or Fire Emblem. And it's okay, but if you look into why that tank was able to turn around and kill yours, it becomes a bit clearer as to why even if you had the first shot advantage that your chance to actually succeed wasn't really all that high to begin with.
I sympathize with you that this game can be frustrating to learn and it doesn't paint the same picture of WW2 that anyone is used to on the tactical level. We expect Tigers and Panthers to rip through Allied tanks but the reality is that Allied tanks were more than a match for German armor. So as either side learn to fight dirty and all options available for a situation instead of just the easy one, and this game really opens up and becomes a wonderfully tactical and engaging experience. Unlike anything I have ever played.

No, being nice to someone who doesn't even know how to deploy troops or use the chat is impossible.

This. Believe me, I desperately want this game to retain more players, I’m tired of seeing only 300 people online. But I’m even more tired of watching the same team stacks over and over while I get stuck with the brand new players that don’t know how to use roads or chat, the game is lost before it even begins.

Everytime we get more players I’m reminded of why so many of them leave so quickly, the horrendous UI, lobby system, and introduction for new players widens the skill gap to Grand Canyon levels. Forget skill based matchmaking, can we at least have just 1 dedicated noob lobby where players with under 50 games are allowed to join and hone their skills in an environment that’s much easier for them to learn in?

It is frustrating to be on a team with a complete noob but this game isn't one where you should be hard on someone. Video game logic doesn't work in this game and that is a system shock to people who aren't used to it. It's true that the tutorial is useless but not everyone has 100 hours to learn how to actually play this game or even just practice against bots. You have to really love this game's approach to realism and the time period in order to really enjoy it and that is a hard pill to swallow. Give people a chance and try to help them. Talk to them before the game starts. Things like sharing competent decks and basic tactical deployment at game start can do wonders for someone's overall skill level.

It´s not about be rude on someone who has not skill but why should I care about noobies when they don't care about others in their team? They only join the game, don´t say anything........ even in loby. And after all you just see how they deploy their units on red/blue line and only waint to loss 55-60% of territory in advantige of enemy. Someone who do that don´t even know how this game works. There is an option to play vs AI and learn more basic thing there (commands) and how the units works at least they can find whether their deck works.

At the End of my comment: It´s not about us. We bought this game and we want to have funn. Paradox had to know that their game is pretty complex and develop something how to help new player to start. And not only in short tutorial.

- Rooms only for noobies -
- visible ranks -

or something else ....

Please provide an honest opinion. Is this game worth putting any time into? for 13 bucks I might consider it. Also which DLCs are good? Would I need to buy them all?. Thanks Dan

Depends what you like to play.
If you like to play 1vs1 2vs2 multiplayer games then the game is for you.
If you like 3vs3 4vs4 or big scale multiplayer games like 10vs10, you'll have a harder time to find games nowadays.
If you're more a solo player, the game will not last long but will be interesting nonetheless. For 13 bucks go for it.
It's just some of us have 800h-900h into this game and would have preferred more reactivity from the devs to give answers to probs existing from day one and lack of players in mutilplayer. So i definitely stopped caring then playing it even if i love it.
Don't expect real gameplay changes now.

We just got big gameplay changes with the latest update lol. I think this game for sure is worth it for everything up to 4v4. And you can find a game in under 10 mins usually in MP even with low player numbers.
Singleplayer will last for like 30h so yeah for reduced prize forsure worth it.

yea, be nice to the people that keep ruining ur games... i wrote about that issue several months ago here. i came back to the game after a while and i see the same problems still exist. You barely find games and if you do so, these games are no fun to play because of those noobs. You cant see profiles and you can fucking label ur lobby so noobs dont join in, but they still do and always will. MM still doesnt exist so even if you play 1vs1 ranks the games are unbalanced as fuck, you win within 5 min. fun game... dont buy

Big gameplay changes ? That's ballsy! The last real gameplay change was the new crit system and not truly for the best seeing the balance at the beginning.
And a good pickup in 3vs3/4vs4 is pretty much impossible, awful experience, good way to make people flee.
The game is worth it but to say there is something new to expect from it, seriously, i'm amazed how optimistic you can be.

This!
I dont have a problem with someone skipping the tutorial, playing it like starcraft and not knowing that you have to deploy your units, I can explain it to them, its a lost game anyway.

But someone not knowing how to use a chat... How can this happen? Its enter - writing - enter... There is even a button for it...
