Latest version seems to work, no crashes and no problems with the diplo-window, but we have that 70k Turkish army in Serbia again, maybe move it to Macedonia??
About that Hungary issue, its better to leave it as it is, Austria already has those Parts of Hungary they possessed after the Turkish victory over Hungary 1526(correct me if I have wrong here). Maybe you should leave Hungary alone with Regusa, so that Turkish AI can annex it beginning of the game....
Hmmm, my game crashes around 1st January 1535, every time. Did you noticed this to BiB? I had the same problem with the first version too, it crashed around same time. I started an IGC 1492 game yesterday to check if there is problem with my computer but it worked good past this date.....![]()

On the two capitals, I think that may be an actual solution to an historical oddity I have been struggling with. In 1535, Spain and the Knights (then in Malta) conquered Tunis and the surrounding area from the Hafsids. They held it until 1570, when the Ottomans forced them out. In the interim, Turkey annexed the Hafsid's province of Tripoli in 1555. This is something the game can't simulate, because Tunis is the capital and you can't own the capital if other provinces are unconquered.
And yet I saw that in one of my earlier 1520 start games (hands off). Spain annexed Tunis, and Turkey annexed Tripoli. I was pleased to see that, and now I know why it happened - two capitals, one in Tunis, one in Tripoli. I need to test this further, but it may be something that should be kept in to give the chance for an actual historical situation to reoccur.
Is there some downside to this I may be unaware of?

Yes, I think the original problem was some lines being too long. As to why it crashes at 1-1-1535 every time..... I'm wondering if it is an historical event looking for a country/situation that no longer exists. Since these crashes didn't appear in my hands-off games, or the passive ones as Turkey/England/Portugal when I went to the 1550s, I am unclear as to which is the problem - if that is the problem.
Arggh, forgot to move the Turkish army in the re-edit. Yes, go ahead and put it in Macedonia (2nd Army, id = 620, from location 355 to 358). I'll change it in mine. Also, the English unit Home Fleet, id = 136, should be type 9424 not 9423 (error from the Paradox version, possible crash bug if a random leader starts there?)
Hungary and Ragusa are allied to each other so that Hungary is alone and Ragusa isn't annexed by Venice immediately. Bib, in a number of games I have seen Turkey take most or all of Hungary in a war or two, with Austria often taking the remnants of Hungary as was historical. Turkey has even conquered Rhodes sometimes (and then Malta revolted once and the Knights reappeared there - it was sweet)

Ah, but u have to see it in context. In my games Turkey NEVER made progress in Europe and at most get halfway the Mamalukes, so them taking 2 provinces in 5 years and starting with the Mamalukes annexed is a revelation for me![]()

Ok, downloaded the latest ICG and patch 1.09 its working now, no crashes at 1 jan 1535. Just a question, if i use the ICG Config tool and change the tax income to "very low", does that effect ICG 1520?

Sorry, I wasn't clear - Turkey taking most or all of Hungary, Austria picking up parts of them too - these are from my 1520 games. I agree, in the 1492 start Turkey has quite a problem with it's BB rating if it manages to annex the Mamelukes at all. The only real ahistorical things I have seen from Turkey in the 1520 are colonies in South Africa occasionally (and occasionally is fine....)
