The patch itself will work, but IGCConfig will not

If one works but not the other it might indicate previous tampering with the files. What exactly is the Java error message?

NoSuchElementException... Hmm...

Check that the following files exist:

[EU Dir]\IGC.dat
[EU Dir]\Scenarios\1492_IGC.inc
[EU Dir]\Scenarios\IGC.eug
[EU Dir]\Config\text.csv

If they don't, try unzipping the IGC again. If they do, send them to me in an e-mail to doomdark@ludd.luth.se

The USA/Vinland option will be greatly enhanced for IGC 2.2.

Thanks for the offer of help.

More hands off games can never hurt, although I usually run quite a bunch before every release of the IGC. I am pretty happy with the balance in 2.1 (which is a little different from 2.0k).

There will probably be an IGC 2.2 pretty soon, but after that I think I will take a break until Hartmann gets back...

First of all, use IGC 2.2, which is available on the IGC web site (link in my signature).

Then, make sure that you have extracted the IGC to your _main_ EU folder.

Run patch.exe, then run IGCConfig.exe.

Well, I can't offer much more advice. Check that the 1492_IGC.inc file is present under your scenario folder.
