Forgive me if this has been suggested; but I think it would be rather good for your IGC version numbers to mimic the current patch version numbers of EU.

For example

IGC V1.7 => IGC V1.08

I think this would minimize some confusion between which patch to play with which IGC.

BTW Thanks for all your work!!!

I'm new to all this, but I would prefer (and feel it is easier to understand and track) if you used something like:
IGC 1.08.7c
It shows the EU patch version and the IGC version number. This way, if you improve/re-release IGC before EU 1.09 you could post it as IGC 1.08.8, etc.

Just my 2 <insert smallest monetary unit here>

These may be good suggestions for clearing up confusion about compatibility and worthy of adoption.

But, also I don't believe any of the IGC variants are incompatible with any of the official game engine patches. That is, you could run IGC 1.2 on the 1.8 patch or IGC 1.7 on the 1.7 patch.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is the case as I am running an early 1.7 release (A) and also the 1.8 patch to the CD version (1.7c) and the IGC (1.2, 1.5e, 1.7) works fine on all counts.
