What you say makes no sense. What do you do with some divisions against german emplacements? Long range Mgs, better long range infantry, IG 18, high ap at guns or 88's. You are forced to bring artillery to combat that. So no not only low or no skillers bring artillery, everyone with half of a brain would bring artillery to counter that.

Edit: Also people who play 352nd after this patch and complain about certain things are not to be taken serious.

I don´t talk about 2-3 pieces of artillery for support and killing targets like MG´s and so on, I talk about arty spam with no sense. If someone bring in 9 pieces of arty+bombers while he has -1 to -2 it´s dumb and it´s frustrating because everything you do is reinforcing for the rest of the game the holes in your line.
It´s about the amount and the use, if you waste so much points for arty that you loose the game because you have not enough front troops it´s noob gameplay imo and it´s also skillless in way you use it. So it´s just a waste of time because I win anyway but it´s frustrating at the same time and that´s not good gameplay imo.

I don´t get your point you edited, I complain about general game mechanics and that I would like to play also other divisions beside the 352. But I don´t feel comfortable with it because it sucks to get arty spamed without possibility to counter if I meet the wrong guy. This has nothing to do with the update.

17 deck is really really BAD. i have no idea why people even take it. A bunch of super expensive and 0 vet infantry, a bunch of nebels which get plane'd or artied 24/7 and a few elite stugs thats what this div has. Really bad phase A and absolute zero vehicle play

Originally the whole idea was to sit back and nebel everything with those neb42s but this strategy only becomes viable in late phase B when stormtroopers, avres, cromwells and ab engineers have already done their job on your troops.

The 17 has a nice anti-tank tab with 1200 m pak right of from start, a much better support tab as the 352 because of IG 33 with same amount as 352 with IG 18 and in my opinion also a better anti-air tab. I think the Stug´s aren´t so bad, it depends on the map, on short range maps they are very effective for me and I would take a Stug over a Tiger because of price.
The 352 is overall better because of the recon, infantry and arty tab but I would like to pick from time to time an other division just because it´s also fun to play with some different units and strategys from time to time.

I decided also before the patch not to play 17 anymore because of bad counter arty availability until phase C compared to 352, it just sucks to sit around and loose your pak and other important units while you can´t do anything against it.

For me it would be more fun to play without IG´s, with MG´s with also 600 m range and without the arty stuff. Because this will never happen I will keep playing only a few games the week with 352 because of lack of other enjoyable division choices. Other solution would be a limit for arty on battlefield, a bit akward but arty spam without possibility to counter is game breaking for me. The games where the enemy is not relying on much or any arty are the most enjoyables for me, no matter if I loose or win.
