I like this game it feels like the laid back child of evil genius and dungeon keeper with a z axis.

I like the appearance and the use of humor and most of the elements.

I wish the tutorials gave a few of the basics quicker though.

In the second tutorial mission there was a spider past a door and he popped through and killed a dude and I didn't know he could do that. I also traded thousands of gold for wood before I saw I could grow wood plants, I obtained every single research in tier one before I learned the reason I couldn't get tier 2 for the traps for the kings quest was because I needed 2 points. I'll look forward to the wiki to learn what else I'm missing.

I like mining through for the limited resource and having to balance messing up a reasonable defensible floor plan with getting all the gold and stuff and most off the other elements. I like the simplistic dungeon keeper style drop them in combat that is balanced with an intelligently done energy I need for traps that will also defend me.

I also kind of wish speed fast forward had more levels because standard feels to slow for normal playing but play often feels to slow If there were about 2 levels in between play and fast forward I'd probably normally play on the first notch up past play. I might want play during some of the more chaotic missions I haven't seen yet but with only pause play and fast-forward I wish I had more speed level options.
