A little defense for Paradox boys
Well, they can't do much more: Italian distributors is only Leader, they make translations and they make errors.
The solution is to install text.csv in english and to play with this (it resolved 90% of game problems); Paradox boys are very nice to send via e-mail this file, and I thank you very much.
However, my profecy (posted in a very old thread) that Leader has problem to relase soon the patch is a reality... Do you remember and do you agree, viper37?
I hope I can find the way to use 1.05 in english forced in italian version... :-(

I know the Australian patch does not have copy protection on it, but I do not know if Leader did put copy protection on their cd...

Nobody is blaming Paradox, it's clear that the "bad guy" is Leader SPA (By the way, I wrote to them, but had no reply up to now): but I think it is unacceptable that the Administrator of this forum forbids to talk about this problem

Well, I have a little 56K modem, so I give you an answer in 1 or two weeks, (with NetVampire), many thanks however.

I do not "forbid to talk about this problem". It is just that the talking has been done in multiple threads already.
To sum up (again):-
Paradox sent the patch to Leader because they wanted to test it themselves. Leader still has it. It is up to Leader to complete the testing and return it.
There is really nothing more to say. Opening more threads on the subject will not change the situation at all.

It should take you no more that 75 minutes. Use a download manager and you should be OK.

2) Here is Technical Support forum, for technical support. There is a forum called "EU II Discussions". If you want to organize a petition or anything else, you should post there. this section is strictly reserved to tech support question (your game won't start, it crashes, etc, etc.) otherwise it would get too many threads and we couldn't follow it; there's a reason why I am a moderator here and I am not in the General Discussions forum and that reason is the # of threads to read
Also when there is already a few threads talking about it, it isn't wise to open many more; this issue has been discussed here many times as well as in the General Discussion forum.

the patch is big because they included the new music files
Same problem, missing the english text.csv, australian 1.05 don't work.
No news from leader.. no answer now from support@europa-universalis.com too.
What can i do?
I think i'll never buy again italian versions.. but now, is there a way to "convert" it to an english one?

if this didn't work, you will need to e-mail Leader SPA as I can't do any more for you the text.csv is only for the languages, it won't change anything else and won.'t let you install the patch if it can't be done now you will need to do the correction to the Italian csv file as per the thread in support forum (thread on top of the forum).
